2013 Geneva Auto Show: BMW M6 Gran Coupe & M6 Convertible – BMW BLOG
After its debut at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe makes its way into the European auto shows circuit. First stop, Geneva, where the first four-door M6 Coupe was displayed in the stunning BMW Individiual Frozen Silver color and comes equipped with ceramic brakes and gold calipers.
Under the hood, the M6 GC packs the S63Tü high-revving V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology that produces 412 kW/560 hp and 680 Newton meters (502 lb-ft) on tap between 1,500 and 5,750 rpm, while maximum output is developed between 6,000 and 7,000 rpm. The engine revs to a maximum of 7,200 rpm. 0-60mph is achieved in 4.1 seconds with a top speed limited to 155mph.
In the U.S. M6 Gran Coupe starts at $113,000, only $3800 more than the M6 Coupe.
